On the 20th September 2019, across the Canberra Region Presbytery, members of congregations went out into their local communities to demand action on Climate Change.

In Canberra, about 38 members of local congregations joined with an estimate 15,000 locals in Canberra's Glebe Park.

Members of Moruya and Bateman’s Bay Uniting Churches gathered on the Council lawns at Moruya for the local Climate Strike.

In Eden there were about 100 students and maybe a few more than this number of community members supporting them. Members of Eden Uniting Church gathered to show their support as well.
